I was introduced to Crossfit in 2010 by a friend who knew that I enjoyed working out. At first, I thought Crossfit was crazy and I would never do that. Becoming more and more interested in what Crossfit was all about, I began doing a few of the movements and incorporating them in my training and the craving just became bigger for what Crossfit had to offer.
I became intrigued with the workouts, so I started doing Crossfit out of my garage. My first attempt at a Crossfit workout was 100 burpees for time. Well, I didn’t think it would take me that long, and plus it can’t be that hard, it is just going down and coming back up, but at the 7 minute mark I had only completed 60 reps and the other 40 seemed like an eternity away.
So I decided to stop but at the same time I was hooked. After doing Crossfit for 3 ½ years I decided one of my underlying passions in life is to help people, so I went and obtained my CF-Level 1 Cert.
I enjoy challenging myself and passing that same energy to others to see them surpass their goals and keep setting new ones. Becoming the strongest of version of yourself lies deep within everyone. Sometimes we need others to help that version become a reality.
